Weekly Self Love Ritual

Updated: Jan 14, 2018

Self care is so important to remaining balanced and aligned with love.

We have been taught to care for others and to give unconditional love, but what about to ourselves?

We become disconnected and drained when we only give and don't take time refill us up with love and acceptance.

By turning inward and silencing the mind after a week of lessons and blessings is vital for our health .

Taking time to reflect on the week allows us to process how we feel, what do we need to release to allows us to begin our Monday fresh. Being the spiritual being we are, we pick up and attach energy from situations, people and places along our hectic week.

Give yourself love and gratitude to honor the tasks you achieved, any goals reached, maybe a special day with a friend, family, lover or an obstacle you overcame. There is no wrong way to send yourself love.

Fill yourself up with kind, positive, inspiring words as you express your heart’s desires as you connect to the feelings of joy in your heart.

Begin by setting your space as you allow the bathtub to fill up. Aromatherapy is a great way to begin to silence your mind along with candles, incense, and soothing music.

Frankincense is one of my personal favorites when wanting to connect to my third eye and tapping into my intuitive senses.

You then begin your self love weekly ritual by taking an epsom bath infused with oils and herbs as you begin to purify your body from toxins.

Set an intention as you begin to focus on your breath. Allow yourself to begin to relax as you let go of the week. Allow thoughts to bypass until there is silence, there is peace; there is connection to love!

The water is soothing and nurturing like a baby in our mother’s womb.

Letting any emotions arise with no judgement to the surface that want to release or any creative ideas flow. Don’t worry about over thinking allowance is the tool to this practice. Any ideas that surface just take a mental note and remain present with the breath.

  • Let the water purify, detox and relax any built up tension or anxiety.

  • Use each inhale to create and exhale to release with the power of visualization.

  • You will know intuitively when you are ready to get out of the bath no need to set a time limit.

Take time with your process of getting out the tub as you begin to use your lotion take this opportunity to massage your jawline and other facial muscles as you begin to work your way down to your toes.

Spend time in each area of your body and release built up tension in your fingers, arms, wrists, shoulders, ribs, quads, hamstrings, ankles and feet.

Envision yourself sending light to each area take time to be with yourself.

Take out your journal allow your hand to move and Spirit flow through you as you begin to write.

Reflecting, processing, and integrating the messages of your higher self. Sending gratitude for the love and support of your angels and guides for their presence and healing.

“Believe in your yourself, you are magnificent, you are beautiful!"
"Allow yourself to sparkle and shine bright in all that you do.”
